Drafted, not yet lawyer-reviewed
This page is a plain-language starting point drafted by the platform operator. It is not legal advice and has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer — it should be reviewed and finalised by legal counsel before being relied upon.
By creating an account or using ilearn4u, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian or school representative should review these terms with you.
ilearn4u is a platform that connects students with opportunities and supports schools, businesses and universities to coordinate applications and placements. We do not guarantee that any application will result in an offer, and we are not a party to any placement, employment or enrolment arrangement made between a student, their school and an organisation.
Unless otherwise indicated, all content on ilearn4u — including text, graphics, logos, icons, the ilearn4u name and brand, software and the overall look and feel of the platform — is owned by or licensed to ilearn4u and is protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and other applicable Australian and international intellectual property laws.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for the accuracy of information you provide. You agree not to misuse the platform, including by impersonating another person, attempting to contact students outside the safeguarding workflow described in our Safeguarding Policy, or submitting false opportunity or application information.
School subscriptions and organisation opportunity slots are billed as described on our Pricing page, in Australian dollars. Pricing may change with reasonable notice. Payments are processed by Square, a third-party payment provider — your card details are entered directly with Square and are never stored on our own servers. To cancel a school subscription, contact us — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Amounts already charged are non-refundable, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, ilearn4u is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including decisions made by schools or organisations regarding applications and placements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms — in particular, any attempt to contact a student outside the safeguarding workflow, or to submit false information. You may stop using ilearn4u and request that your account be closed at any time by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders (such as an email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use ilearn4u after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland for any dispute arising from them.
